Linea mare COSTA

I take this opportunity to present in detail the prints designed for the Costa marine line. Every collection we present tells a story that accompanies you on your journeys and leaves you with a splendid memory over time of what Sardinia is.
The Costa marine line is dedicated to some of the treasures that are part of the North-East area of the island in particular. My personal goal is to tell the story of Sardinia through scents and memories that transform into prints designed and created by us, unique in their kind.
Juniper
Juniper is a tree found throughout the region. Its wood is very precious, and it is recognized by its intense fragrance. On the island of San Pietro, it was already present since the 1700s and was used for building the first roofs of Carloforte. Nowadays, cutting juniper is prohibited, but essential oil can be obtained from the wood, which is used for hair care. Red berries yield an oil used in cooking or in the preparation of liqueurs.
Personally, I was born and raised around juniper trees, around their unmistakable, fresh scent, and I decided to showcase it on a unique print, with a watercolor and delicate style.
Tavolara
Tavolara is considered the smallest kingdom in the world. It is a flat mountain, 560 meters high, known for the verticality of its rocks and the shades of colors; the green of the plants and the blue of the sea make the island unique. The history of Tavolara is linked to King Carlo Alberto of Savoy who, according to legend, arrived on its shores in search of mythical goats with golden teeth (probably yellowed due to helichrysum) and appointed its only inhabitant as the king of the island. The descendants are still the only residents and guardians of the island.
Visiting Tavolara was a beautiful and stimulating experience from a creative and personal perspective. I had the opportunity to explore Tavolara and see up close the surrounding nature and the beautiful shades of Emerald blue and green of the sea, experiencing moments rich in Mediterranean colors and scents. Therefore, I decided to dedicate a playful print with vibrant colors.
Bougainville
Originally, bougainvillea is a tropical plant. Currently, it is found throughout the Mediterranean, especially in Greece and Sardinia, and it decorates the Mediterranean scrub with its beautiful colors. In the language of flowers, bougainvillea symbolizes passion and welcome. Its flowering branches adorn and brighten the entire environment, which is why in the Mediterranean, bougainvillea is displayed at the entrances of welcoming places and residences, paying homage to guests.
Personally, I chose to pay homage to this plant because it surrounds the entire village where I was born and raised, coloring the summer season with a burst of spectacular and flashy colors.
San Pantaleo
San Pantaleo is considered one of the most beautiful villages in Italy, a magical town rich in magnetic energies that attract thousands of people every year. In itself, it is a small village of 900 inhabitants that has remained authentic over the years. Since the '90s, it has been a summer tourist attraction thanks to the San Pantaleo market, which was established in 1998. This small village is known as the town of artists and artisans who showcased their crafts right here.
As a native of San Pantaleo, I wanted to dedicate a print to my small village that has given me the opportunity to exhibit and express my ideas and creations, carrying on the tradition of craftsmanship and quality appreciated worldwide.
